Whose data do we process and why?
We process your personal data in order to maintain, manage, and develop our customer relationship and to conduct analyses and compile statistics related to it.
Personal data is collected mainly from data subjects during personal or digital interaction, in conjunction with signing an agreement, and via the suunnittelemo.fi website by means of the newsletter subscription feature. In addition, we receive updates to our customer information from the companies’ websites.

What data do we process?
We process only data that you provide yourself. The register contains the following information:
- Basic contact information (name, contact information, organisation)
- Information regarding our website (cookies)
- Your contact request
- Information provided by a job applicant (resume, letter of application)
Retention period of personal data
We will continue to process your data throughout the duration of the customer agreement for the management of which the data is required. After this, your data will be used for marketing and other above-mentioned purposes. We delete your data at your request or when it is no longer required for our purposes. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter via the link included in each of our newsletters or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sources of contact information
All the contact information that Suunnittelemo gets is provided by the customer or organisation itself.
- Basic information (name, contact information, organisation)
The information that a job applicant has provided;
- Information provided by the job applicant’s referee(s)
- Information provided by the recruiting consultants
Other sources of information;
- Google Analytics and third parties using it
- Social media platforms
- We can purchase information from third parties that upgrade customer informations (public registries)

Disclosure of data
Your information can be disclosed to a third party if it is necessary for processing data:
- Third parties that are acknowledged, to whom information can be disclosured by law
- Information that is used to develop actions or policies or to gather reports (the person cannot be recognised from this information)
- Disclosing information to authorities regarding criminal activities
Information regarding a job applicant’s suitability can be disclosed in individual recruitments.
Transfer of personal data outside the EU
Information gathered by Mailchimp e-mail service and Google Analytics can be transferred outside of the EU or ETA. Those maintaining these sites have agreed to the EU-US Privacy Shield. More information
Data-register protection policy
We take care of securing your data as well as possible. Though, transferring data over the internet can never be 100 % safe. The person who provides the information is responsible for sending the information to us.
You have the right to view the personal data pertaining to you. If you notice erroneous data or that data is missing, you can request us to rectify or complete the information.
You have the right to restrict the processing of your data if you believe that the processing is unlawful or that we do not have the right to process your data.
You have the right to prohibit the use of your data for direct marketing.
If you believe that the processing of some of the data concerning you is not required for our tasks, you have the right to request us to delete the data in question. We handle your request and then either delete your data or notify you of our grounds for not doing so. If you disagree with our decision, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection ombudsman. Additionally, you have the right to restrict the processing of the data in question while the complaint is being processed.
You have a right to lodge a complaint with the data protection ombudsman if you think that we violate applicable data protection legislation in our data processing.
Suunnittelemo Oy is obliged to verify your identity if you want us to delete your information from our registry or otherwise restrict the use of your information. The request must be in writing. Be prepared to verify your identity.
